Dramatic contemporary architecture, south facing solar efficiency, and window walls are a few of the descriptive terms which are commonly used to describe this development of forty duplex homes. Many of the homes have been constructed to have a view of Lincoln Peak, the ski trails, and ever changing foliage.
At Southface each duplex building has two different floor plans. One side which is approximately 1,700 square feet, has two standard size bedrooms plus a smaller single built-in platform bed room, and two baths. The second (or larger west side) has approximately 1,900 square feet and has three standard size bedrooms and three baths. Many of the homes had additional optional features which include hot tub, Jacuzzi, loft areas and carport.
In addition there are two tennis courts and a swimming pool for use by owners and their guests. At Southface deer are often seen grazing in the old orchard, and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, and mountain biking are just outside the door.
